How to actually do it
- Open the job advert and your current CV, then copy the job title, employer, key requirements and your most relevant experience into a single document.
- Add two or three factual points you want the interviewer to remember, such as a relevant achievement, a career change or a reason for applying.
- Paste the prepared information into the prompt and send it to a chatbot such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
- Read the draft aloud and remove any phrase that you would not normally say or could not explain with a specific example.
- Compare every factual claim in the draft with your CV and employment history, then correct or delete anything unsupported.
