How to actually do it
- Open the job advert or person specification and copy the exact competency question, relevant criteria and any stated word limit.
- Choose one genuine example from your work, study, volunteering or other relevant experience that shows the behaviour the question asks about.
- Write down the situation, your specific actions, the reason for those actions and the outcome, separating your contribution from what the wider team did.
