   How to actually do it

   1. Open the UK job advert and copy the job title, location, salary range and any wording about the benefits package.
   2. Write down the experience, responsibilities and skills you can defend in the interview, along with your target and minimum acceptable package if you have decided them.
   3. Paste the advert extract and your facts into the prompt, leaving out your current salary unless you want to disclose it.
   4. Ask the chatbot to produce the three versions and to identify which facts support any proposed range.
   5. Compare every proposed figure with the employer’s stated range and with current salary information from reliable UK sources you can inspect, then remove any figure you cannot justify.
   6. Practise the version you choose aloud and change wording that does not sound like you before using it in the interview.
