   How to actually do it

   1. Open your device's file manager, such as File Explorer, Finder, Files or your cloud storage app, and make a backup of the files before reorganising them.
   2. Choose one location to organise first, then collect a file inventory by copying visible file names, paths and dates into a document; remove private details before pasting it into a chatbot.
   3. Paste the inventory and your device details into the prompt, adding the folder categories you want or asking the chatbot to suggest them.
   4. Ask the chatbot to produce the folder structure, sorting table and separate uncertain-files list, then remove any category or filename it has guessed without evidence.
   5. Create the proposed folders in the file manager while leaving the original files in place, and move a small test group using the platform-specific steps from the response.
   6. Open each new folder, compare its contents with the sorting table and search for the original filenames before moving the remaining files.
   7. Keep the backup and original location until you can open the moved files and confirm that important files, dates and file extensions are intact.
