   How to actually do it

   1. Open the job advert and copy the full text, including the role requirements and essential criteria, into a new document.
   2. Gather your previous CVs, employment dates, job titles, qualification records and any notes showing responsibilities, projects or results.
   3. Paste the job advert and your information into the prompt, replacing each bracketed section and leaving unknown facts blank.
   4. Ask the chatbot to produce the CV and the separate list of points needing confirmation, then copy the draft into a document you can edit.
   5. Compare every employer, job title, date, qualification, skill and achievement in the draft with your records, deleting anything you cannot prove or explain in an interview.
   6. Compare the skills and evidence against the job advert, then replace generic bullets with your own specific examples and correct any wording that does not sound like you.
   7. Run a final spelling and layout check in the document, save the CV with a clear filename, and send it only after confirming that the contact details and target role are correct.
