How to actually do it
- Open your current CV and copy the sections covering your recent roles, qualifications, skills and relevant achievements.
- Open the job advert and copy the job title, essential requirements and wording that describes the work.
- Add two or three achievements you can explain in an interview, including figures only where they are accurate.
- Paste the copied information into the prompt, replacing each bracketed slot, and ask the chatbot to produce the profile.
- Compare every claim in the draft with your CV, employment records and actual experience, then delete anything you could not defend in an interview.
- Read the profile aloud beside the job advert and replace generic wording with the employer's relevant language without copying unsupported claims.
